We're a multicultural family of five on a mission to explore the world, one state, one country, one song, and one school of life lesson at a time. Inspiring adventure and connection all along the way. — Etienne was the first person I met at the airport in Guinea and a drum teacher at the school. Although, we didn't speak any of the same language, we fell in love. I returned to Guinea the following year and we conceived our first child, Faya. Little did we know the immigration process would take two years, which felt very long and slow! Etienne was able to come to the United States in 2019 and meet Faya (named after Etienne's father) for the first time when he was 18 months old.
